Q: Do you have any positions available w/ a base salary?

A: No, currently we do not have any open positions that offer a base salary. 

We are actively hiring Real Estate Agents & Brokers and people who intend to obtain the NY state Real Estate Salesperson/Broker license.

Q: Do I have to already have my NY Real Estate license before joining the team?

A: No, it is not required for you to have your license before joining the team.  You can join the team prior to obtaining your license.  The benefit of doing that is you’ll be able to connect & communicate w/ the team, participate in the regular coaching sessions, & you’ll have full access 24/7 to our internal digital library w/ videos, audio recordings, scripts, templates, etc.

Q: How do I get my NY Real Estate License?
A: You must complete a 77 hour NY Real Estate Salesperson course. Most people take the course online.  There are various real estate schools where you can enroll online.  We often recommend www.RealEstateU.com.

Once you complete the course, you will have to pass the NY state Real Estate Salesperson exam (all multiple choice questions). Then, you can login to your eAccessNY account & submit the NYS Real Estate Salesperson/Broker application, specifying who your sponsoring broker will be. We will provide you with the Sponsor Broker license #. 

Q: If I joined today, what fees am I expected to pay?
A: If you joined today, you can expect a 100% NON-REFUNDABLE One-time Setup Fee of $100 + prorated Office Dues for the current month. However, we do often make adjustments & agree to payment plans w/ candidates that are serious & committed to building their real estate business. If the start-up costs are a concern to you, you can discuss it directly w/ the owner & principal real estate broker, Jerry Baptiste. You can always setup a 1-on-1 meeting w/ him here:

Q: What commission split plans do you offer?

Q: Why do you charge a monthly fee? What is that for?
The monthly fee helps the brokerage to cover the costs of:
Coaching, LEADS, & the suite of software apps/tools that we provide agents with, to help you w/ increasing your productivity, & the day-to-day managing of their business. 

Q: What is an Annual Cap?

A: An Annual Cap sets a maximum limit on how much the brokerage will keep from your annual gross commissions earned. Most of the commission plans that we offer have an Annual Cap set.

Q: Describe the coaching that I can expect to receive.

When you join the BUZZ REALTY team, you can expect to gain access to coaching & training in various forms. We have regular team coaching session via Zoom or Google Meet. Often, teammates make suggestions for the topics to cover. All coaching sessions are recorded & made available via our internal digital library to all teammates within 24 hours after the live coaching session.

In addition to the live team coaching sessions, we also have numerous previously recorded coaching & training sessions made available to you 24/7/365.  We have an internal website which contains a digital library of videos, audios, templates, documents, scripts, articles, etc. all w/ the intent of helping you to build & grow your real estate business.

Q: Where is your office located?

BUZZ REALTY is a virtual real estate brokerage. All teammates work 100% remotely. Our official address is 1124 East 58th St, Brooklyn, NY 11234. However, our team is never there. When meeting w/ clients & customers, we often meet them at the subject property, or at a local public location like coffee shops, etc.

Q: Why do you not have any physical office spaces?

As a virtual real estate brokerage, BUZZ REALTY chooses to operate 100% remotely. By not having physical office spaces, it helps to keep our overhead costs low. Also, it allows us to scale quickly & grow the business, entering new markets, quicker than most. We understand the advantage that leveraging technology gives us & we intend to use that advantage to serve as many clients as possible, as efficiently as possible.

Q: How long has your brokerage been in business?

BUZZ REALTY was founded on 11/10/2010 & has been a licensed real estate brokerage in NY state since then.

Q: How can I send you a payment?

BUZZ REALTY is a paperless & cashless real estate brokerage. All payments to & from the brokerage are always electronic. We accept & send payments via wire transfer, ACH/Direct Deposit, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, & PayPal.

Q: Is your business a black-owned business?
